We have great news as our Sunday Concerts will be starting again in October. These concerts are organised by the Friends of the Whitworth in collaboration with the Royal Northern College of Music. Each concert is performed by their students and the quality of playing is superb.
The next concert is by Genesis, a trombone quartet on October 27th.
The other good news is that our first five concerts have been sponsored by a generous benefactor in memory of her parents who used to be Friends of the Whitworth. They were great fans of music and education and this gift, in their memory, will ensure we will be able to host more concerts in the coming year.
