Bankfield House Museum is a grade II listed historic house museum, incorporating a regimental museum and textiles gallery in Boothtown, Halifax . It is notable for its past ownership and development by Colonel Edward Akroyd, MP, and its grand interior.
Shibden Hall is a Grade II* listed historic house in Halifax, West Yorkshire, famously known as the home of the 19th-century diarist Anne Lister. Dating back to 1420, the hall features a distinctive half-timbered Tudor frontage and is set within 32 hectares of landscaped parkland. The hall was used for filming the 2018 British historical drama Peterloo and the 2019/2022 television series Gentleman Jack

There is a small cafe on site

1.00pm Arrive Shibden Hall, Halifax
We will alight the coach at 'Coffee Culture in the Park', which is a short walk from Shibden Hall. Alternatively you may prefer to take your own picnic.
4.00pm Depart for Manchester for arrival at RNCM c5.15pm
All times are approximate after the initial pick up at Stanley Green
Volunteers are stationed throughout both properties so we will not be employing specific guides for either property.
