Don’t know your Hangi-to from your Kento, then you should join this small beginner’s workshop introducing participants to the tools and techniques used in Mokuhanga or Japanese woodcut printing.
No experience needed and if you are worried about your drawing skills, there will be images for you to use. At the end of the day you may not have The Great Wave, but you will have the satisfaction of carving your wood blocks and using them to print your own image in one or multiple colours.
All materials will be provided.
