The Whitworth, Manchester, UK, presents a free online symposium, Material Power: Palestinian Embroidery, organised in partnership with the V&A, London, UK.

Join us online for a one-day programme of presentations, panel discussions, and roundtable conversation inspired by the Material Power: Palestinian Embroidery exhibition at the Whitworth. From care for collections to contemporary art practices, the symposium seeks to shed light on the history of Palestinian embroidery, as well as its evolution and transformation over time.
