Sonix Duo is a dynamic contemporary music wind duo who formed in 2018 at the Royal Northern College of Music and is based in Manchester. Sonix’s concert programmes include a wide range of repertoire, from classical music to acoustic music with electronics. The duo has given various performances and workshops around Manchester, including performances in Manchester St Ann’s Church, Didsbury Emmanuel Church and Lancaster Priory. They have collaborated with award-winning composers including Ben Nobuto, Emily Pedersen, Nate Chiver and Kev Tak Kei Wong.
The duo is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of musical interpretation, crafting unique arrangements, and bringing people together to breathe life into avant-garde performances.
