Join us for a glass of wine before enjoying a musical journey which will follow in Albrecht Dürer’s footsteps.
I Trionfi, a quintet of lute and voices, appearing by kind permission of the Royal Northern College of Music, will introduce works by Clément Janequin, Heinrich Isaac, Jacquet de Berchem, amongst others. You will hear music of the time from the countries Dürer visited, and from the Imperial Court. Professor Thomas Schmidt, Professor of Music at the University of Manchester, and Head of the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, opens this very special evening when music and art will come together.

By special arrangement for the evening, Greenheys Community Car Park will stay open from 6-8.00pm on 16 February. The car park is in Acomb Street, just off Denmark Road and two minutes walk from the gallery. The car park will close at 8.00pm on the dot. The sat nav address is M15 6FQ
