29th March: Paramount Brass
Founded in 2019, Paramount Brass is a new, dynamic trombone quartet formed of students studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. Following their recent establishment the group has continued to flourish and create their own distinct style, with regular rehearsals and coaching from RNCM tutor Roger Cutts culminating in a performance at the British Trombone Society Youth Day in Bridgend. The quartet looks forward to continuing their development into a professional, innovative brass chamber group.
This concert series is funded by the generous bequest left to the Friends of the Whitworth by Gina Miller.
